I wish my heart was a simple place where I could hide in harder days, Pure as gold, of doubt no trace I wish my heart was a simple place Well Henry writes of the simple ways To take all of life with a warm embrace No things to fear only things to face  When Henry writes of the simple ways Oh you got me singing When Henry shows how to disobey, To free your mind and to free your slaves, To build your home and to watch the waves, When Henry shows how to disobey Oh you got me singing

Feel the love, feel the fear, What the hell I'm doing here, Going on, turning 'round, Getting lost, being found Moving in, moving out, Being still, getting loud, Getting up, wearing down, Trying in another town Along the way, you will find, you'll be fine Meeting him, missing her, Life is clear, life's a blur, Getting in, making out, Knowing what this world's about Feeling strong, feeling small, Get the meaning of it all, Clearing up, trying on, In falling nights, breaking dawn Along the way, you will find, you'll be fine

Essaouira 05:40
Well I met this girl, it was some time ago, and we were dancing mighty fine So I wrote her a song, but in those days I just couldn't make it rhyme, And as you can see I still struggle here, but now I won't put it down, So let me take the tune, and turn it round, to sing about this town.  Pretty Essaouira, lying at the sea Never shy to share a bit of beauty with me Well I met this man, he was jumping the rocks in a way I wouldn't dare When the tide went out then he went cutting of shells to sell later in the square, These ocean waves were pretty damn strong, I was afraid they'd suck him in, But everytime he was just too quick so the sea just let him win.  Well I met these girls on a roof terrace, one just turned twenty four, And they asked me to play on the instrument I had standing on the floor, Well you better watch out but a little song can hardly do no harm,  And so I played and they danced and the sunset came to chip in with it's charm Pretty Essaouira, lying at the sea Never shy to share a bit of beauty with me Well I met a boy that I didn't know but he said he was my friend, Then he showed me his shop full of magic lamps with a special price in the end, Didn't need no candles nor garden lights but he convinced me that I did, And now I'll buy another bag 'cause in the one I have I just cannot make things fit And I met these gosts from the sixties in their castles made of sand, There were Bobby M and Jimmy H, smoking hand in hand,  They were rather friendly but pretty damn high and when the moment came, They stood up together and started singing "life is a musical game" Pretty Essaouira, lying at the sea Never shy to share a bit of beauty with me

All the love you have been wasting All the lifes you have been tasting All this loving at the side All the rounds you have been racing  All the lights you have been chasing  Oh it's been loving on the side  Oh all my loving on the side  All the nights you have been waking All the trees you have been shaking, Oh it's been loving on the side All these days you have been dreaming  All these words you have been screaming  Oh it's been loving on the side  Oh all my loving on the side No more shame, no more shame Now I see we're so the same, My sins are burning on this flame, No more shame no more shame
5.
The world is a sacred place, she gives us hope she gives us grace, Of all beings born in her embrace, now men became the dominant race          We don't know our strenghth, no But we don't fix our flaws, no Using all we can, leaving all the waste No, no looking away, going around is going astray We are the spending men, consuming everything we can,  We're thinking, therefore exist, it (voorgetrokken) is time that we persist, Plastic in the seas, no fire in the trees, no Carbo in the sky, and yes we do know why No, no looking away, going around is going astray

All Mine 04:29
Leaving a life in the distance All mine, all mine, all mine  Leading my dreams on these highways, All mine, all mine, all mine The road is like water it shines like silver in the sun The road is like water it's flowing down down down  Oh-o-oh streaming Oh-o-oh flowing down/streaming Letting my heart out a fortress All mine, all mine, all mine  Floating away into fortune,  All mine, all mine, all mine My dreams are like water they shine like silver in the sun My dreams are like water, flowing down, down, down Let it go, let it go  Will not stay  Let it go, let it go All the way

about

Baragan is inspired by the street musician’s life, with its coincidental encounters and its drifting existence, the burning desire for the unknown, the longing for distant lands behind the hills, the yearning to be yanked from the known, to surrender to the stream of encounters that make you drift away to new love, new friendship and unreachable horizons.
